For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

still good looking guitars. i dunno why but they always remind me of what was popular around 2004
They remind me of some American children's cartoon which I can't remember the name of. It featured some creatures that had noses like the Parker Fly's top horn.
EDIT; After some searching for cartoons set in a forest I now know it's a Canadian show called the Raccoons.

Parker fly classic has been always a guilty pleasure for me - and I'll someday finally get one. There's one from 2001 for sale locally for about 1400euros, I think that's a pretty nice price.

Had the cheapo P-38 fly. Wooden neck. Flat radius. Very shallow profile.
Stereo out to split the active electronics or Fishman piezo bridge.
Bandmate made me sell it as he wanted us to look like the Strokes. Wunjo on Denmark Street sold it for me when they first opened.
Can't remember too much about the sound but I would say I probably don't like the feel too much.
HOWEVER - I've always wanted a proper one. In metallic blue. Yum. Still would!

here's something vaguely related to your thread, offset-guy Robert Smith with a Parker...

I've been to one World's Fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing i ever heard come out a pair of headphones.

I've made the exact same cartoon reference in the past when discussing the Fender Electric 12 headstock

I remember wanting one so badly when they came out, but couldn't afford one. They just looked futuristic, definitely not the kind of guitar you'd use in certain band settings. In '97 or '98, I got to see Reeves Gabrels do a guitar clinic & he was using one. He got some incredible sounds out of it. Of course, Reeves sounds like himself regardless of what he's playing, so to judge the guitar based on him, wouldn't be fair.
About 8 years ago, I was going to buy one off a guy who was selling off most of his gear, but the Fly is the one thing he didn't want to sell. It wasn't meant to be. Who knows, maybe I'll get one someday.
The only thing I didn't like about them was the flat radius.
