Just curious. I have enough guitars, but just want to see what people think about these. Not unreasonably priced IMHO.

That's super weird, really interested in people's first hand experiences with these.

I haven’t but his basic hypothesis and glass window pane analogy is wrong as it relates to the coefficient of friction so I will imagine he’s trying to find a way to sell Chinese made guitars for a fancy price. The results could be true, but I doubt it, sounds like snake oil to me, but you can decide something else, incidentally snake oil rubbed on a guitar neck...so so silky smmooooth

I understand the principle but not so sure it's the end all/be all of necks.... I actually like the look, reminds me of checkering on a rifle stock.

I LOVE my necks, sand well with 320 grit, 3 coats of Tru Oil, buff well with 0000 steel wool=super smooth & slick. I'm no shredder so I don't need a fast neck but love the feel.

I gotta say that whenever I see some attractive woman showing some cleavage with the product it makes me at least 40% less interested. Generally I am a fan of attractive women-- and their cleavage-- but not when it's mixed with trying to entice me to buy something. I'm not 13 years old anymore.

This, I mean Dean are kind've known for it at this stage but it's still really backwards and creepy.

whilst I'm no fan of a super sticky thick skin seventies strat neck finish, I feel like this dude has identified a problem that doesn't really exist.

I kinda don't want my hand to be sliding round all over the place when I'm playing and don't see the benefit. I don't want it completely friction free and the common dislike of a sticky poly neck doesn't mean 100% the other extreme is good either.

I think the problem that exists is that he has a bunch of Chinese made guitars that he needs to sell and he’s trying to drive interest.

As Jake mentioned above, it reminds me of a rifle stock, which is intended to improve your grip, not your “glide.”

Slap some textured contact paper on your neck and investigate?

Also, the 80s cleavage shot turned me off as well, especially after I noticed she was fake fretting a chord on the back of the neck? You noticed that too, right?? Lol. I wonder who coached her to do that? At least in the Dean adverts the models were fake fretting the fretboard!
