DG is all finished and should be heading my way this week hopefully. I got some Grey Rit Dye for the neck. Should be interesting to see how it works.

I'd absolutely rock one of these. Maybe a second pickup. And a built in drum machine like the original! Did you ever play one?

Never did and they seem a little pricey to fool around with.

This build is the best kind of crazy, well played sir...

It's never too late to throw in a hex pickup and/or kaoss pad to make this a modern reinterpretation of what they tried to do.

It arrived today, it is so small! Almost the size of my hand. I used some Rit charcoal grey dye on the Peavey neck for it. It did not turn out grey, but rather like charred wood. Not what I was expecting but kinda cool to be honest. Will post a pic of that neck tomorrow.

Here is the neck with some clear on it. The dye said charcoal grey but I am getting more of a charcoal effect.

I picked mine up for about £150 around 8/9 years ago.

Playing it was hard and in no way fun. It also weighed far more than it looked like it should've - like someone had put a plastic shell over a solid lump of lead.

And it sounded like an 80s Casio keyboard in all the worst ways (though it did have a drum machine, preceding Tony Di Gatorra by a number of years).

Anyway, I can't wait to see the finished guitar. Where did you get this made? I want one!

I had a friend make me the body. He doesn't want to get overwhelmed with projects, so I try not to mention his name.

This is an interesting look on its own, but it seems like it would be a weird match with the body.

We will see.

I can't wait to get this painted but the weather is rainy. It is so little!
