Thanks, D. I don't know if you saw, but I rejiggered the LP Studio to make it look (and sound) like a proper Les Paul. The Tokai still has that 70's gaudy thing going going on, but it might be on the chopping block. Thanks! There really is something special about the T64/Casino/330type of guitar. I haven't played it enough to put it into words, though. Good choice on the Casino/ES330 type guitar Maggie - my only gear regret is that I didn't hold onto a 330 in the great guitar shakeup of the last twelve months.
In terms of your comments about the guitar horde getting smaller but better, I can relate to this - I've gone from having a good few nice guitars, to fewer really nice guitars to a four absolute keepers.
