I traded for this bad boy. It came with just the bridge pickup, but it had already been routed for the neck pickup and a toggle so I figured I would add that. Both pickups are Hallmark ones that were custom made with vintage style magnets. They are pretty hot but not noisy. I like them a lot. I learned from this guitar that I like having the lower part go up higher. It goes between my arm and body and stabilizes the guitar when I am standing. It has kinda changed my view on guitar bodies. The neck is finished in oil and is three part flamed maple. I love the small dot inlays. The neck is also stamped at the end of the fretboard. Knobs are vintage Japanese ones. Body is traditional thickness (thin) and is alder sprayed black in nitro. Jason Ingrodi built it and was awesome to work with. He cut the guard and installed the neck pickup for free for me. I just had to pay shipping. Cool cool guy. Here are pics!

That's cool - one day I'll wind up getting more into Mosrites
(on the list after I tackle Rickenbacker
)

very nice. liked it both ways.
i always wished they'd reissue one or both of the ramones signature guitars instead of the boring old mk ii.

Is the neck a straight up square like it looks in the picture? Wild

I think that’s a combination of the lighting and the join between two pieces of maple that make it look like a “corner” and a flat face. That flame has got you mesmerized!

So is it a Mosrite build, essentially? Is anyone making Mosrite build-to-order other than Hallmark? I've always wanted an Ink Blue Mosrite. It would sound lovely through my 61 Showman

This is awesome, congrats!
I remember seeing this guitar come up on the forum before with the single pickup. Glad you got it running with a second, and super cool of the luthier to do that pro-bono!
Hope you enjoy it.

Jason does. You can find him on Facebook. I messaged him to get this pickup and guard setup on the guitar he made.
