Got a soft spot for studios. I think they are so underrated.

I thing the studio takes it back to the origins, that particular sunburst really fits that era. I thing I figured our the aging and filth, it was owned by a savant dog who lived outside and aged it 7 times as fast as a human could, a Les Poodle.

Looks awesome, but I'd throw a black pickguard on it to complete the look.

I'm going to disagree- that pickguard and poker chip are integral to the guitar's history.

Yeah, I’m never going to get cosmetic surgery either. I checked the bridge pickup because the rings different but it’s all original. It is an unfortunate color on the pick guard, but , once again , original so it gets the nod. I’m not sure of the finish material, it seems thin but I dig it. I wouldn’t obsess over keeping it original but it if ain’t broke§§§§§

I think they were worried you might get tetanus or something.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

I have a thin skin but don’t wanna fuck it up. I’d love more than anything to find a cheap studio to relic up though. I know this is pretty dirty but I love how it looks

Not anymore it isn’t...at least not compared to what it was.

At ~$400 and some applied skill & elbow grease, that’s a fucking win!

I bought it from a young dude, I asked why he was selling it and he said he was trying to get a Gretsch.Yikes.I have a habit of cleaning/ disinfecting/ debugging all my found treasures ( dumpster, flea market, junk store, garage sale, auction) and setting them in the sun to dry before they get to come home. In one of my lives I was antique seller/ auctioneer, I did recycle reuse when it was called plain old cheap, still love a good trashpick.

Dumpster diving is super fun. I love checking out pawn shops for random cool things. :D
