Nice! The pickup looks a little closer to the bridge than usual as well which will be contributing to that zingyness!

Esquire 70th anniversary. Nice guitar. Pine body, steel saddle, undersized U neck and special pickups. One of my guitars I play the most live. I just wish it was more reliced, specially the glossy neck, so I need to play it more.

I really need to play one of these at some point, I go to regent sounds quite a lot and they always have some in stock so really no excuse to have not given one a go.

I can recommend! Quite impressed so far. Still need to put it through a proper amp but I've been having a blast playing it at home this past week or so.

I am both repelled and aroused by that Rickenbacker.

I also have a Kingpin. Considering I usually only use neck pickups, I'm surprised I don't have more single-pickup guitars.
I really want a Junior with a neck only instead of bridge only.

The only one pickup guitar I have is this Dan Armstrong copy. It's a chunky li'l rhythm machine.

I dropped by regent sounds to pick up some strings and tried one of these out while I was there, just unplugged. My main takeaway is how nice the neck finish felt. No chance of getting stuck or bogged down. Need to plug one in at some point.

When I was doing my research on them, people were always talking about how great the necks on these things are and I have to agree. Feels fast and fun without being too thin. Going back to my Yamaha SBG's feels more like a baseball bat now by comparison.
