Straight string pull, beautifully contrasting carved edges...that is probably the most perfect headstock to ever come out of the "OG design" era of the 50s and 60s.
I agree with this. I love this Firebird headstock. I'd totally have one if they weren't so damn expensive.
We are merely moving shadows.

The Emily Wolfe Sheraton and Shinichi Ubukata ES-355 look pretty amazing, too.

The Shinichi Ubukata ES-355 is also gorgeous and comes in a variety of colours plus the fretboard looks much better.
Still my choice would be the DG Epiphone.
Now just need to sell one my least played guitars to fund a new purchase.

I think Epiphone is doing another Firebird version with this headstock, a light blue one, close to sonic blue.

I bet it is tremendous. I got a $700 Riviera that is absolutely inspiring, it's clear to me that Epiphone is made to be as good as Gibson these days. They cost more now, but the price gets you an amazing guitar, so nothing to complain about.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Really happy with it so far.
Especially like the neck, big, chunky, wide neck,
exactly the opposite of the Fenders I own.

That looks so good. I've played some of the higher end epiphanies recently and they've felt really solid, I just wasn't a huge fan of the neck shapes or finishes otherwise I'd be thinking unwise thoughts.

Thanks!
It's a solid guitar for sure with quality electronics and pickups.
What surprised me is the size of this guitar. It's actually longer than my Mustang bass on the guitar rack sitting next to eachother.
I grab my Greco RG after the Epiphone and it feels like playing a Mustang ;D
