Telecaster Deluxe style guitars?
Been thinking about me getting bored of most generic guitar tones when I remembered for a period I really wanted a Telecaster Deluxe - I love the look/aesthetic of them, probably more than a "real" Tele, and the pickups are really interesting to me, as they occupy that middle space that P90s do but without the noise(presumably).
I've been looking for ones though that have a Trem(any sort) and coming up short. Harley Benton make some good HH Teles with trems, but that's not the same thing really.
Maybe looking for something like a Schecter PT Fastback II or Vintera II 70s that doesn't cost a bomb. Meteora could be a consideration second hand - it has that kind of glassy but thick sound I like from the Wide Ranges that's a bit more interesting than most humbuckers to me.
Any sort of guitar with those pickups and a trem really that's under 800 quid(or whatever I'd get for my Marauder) would be worth a look for me.

The current Vintera II line has a Tele Deluxe with trem - the Fender site is a pain in the ass to link to because the URLs are country specific, but the model is 0149072341 and they come in vintage white or surf green.
edit - sorry, you already mentioned the Vintera IIs. No other ideas I'm sorry unless there is some old Greco or Ibanez model. The original Fender 70s ones sometimes had a trem, there was one for sale here for a while I think.

You could always get a basic Tele Deluxe, and add a Bigsby Tele bridge/vibrato unit to it. I can't remember ever seeing a Bigsby on a Deluxe or Custom, but I bet that would be really awesome...

You're heading into HH Strat territory, while rare from Fender 'stock', is a very large world otherwise. They don't particularly look like Tele Deluxes, I only mentioned because you said Meteora... but then I took another look and saw that the Meteora pickguard shape does resemble them quite a bit, and the Tele Deluxe vibe is still there, as opposed to on HH Strats.

I looked into using this kit on my Deluxe for a long time, before ultimately deciding to just buy another more traditional style Tele and convert it to a Bigsby. I may still give it a try some day. The only downside to this kit in particular would be the need to use a three saddle bridge, which isn't to everyone's tastes on a Deluxe.Shadoweclipse13 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2023 9:13 pmYou could always get a basic Tele Deluxe, and add a Bigsby Tele bridge/vibrato unit to it. I really like Vibramate's offerings--very stable, but also entirely reversible if you no longer want the Bigsby down the road.
Here is (or I guess I should say was, as I sold it earlier this year) my Custom with the B5 "F" logo kit:
I currently have a traditional single coil Tele with that kit on it now.

+1, my friend has a regular Vintera Deluxe and it's a really fun guitar. I'm not a humbucker guy but I loved the sounds I got out of it without even adjusting my rig.MattK wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2023 4:24 pmThe current Vintera II line has a Tele Deluxe with trem - the Fender site is a pain in the ass to link to because the URLs are country specific, but the model is 0149072341 and they come in vintage white or surf green.
