72 Tele Thinline - What value is the tone capacitor?

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

72 Tele Thinline - What value is the tone capacitor?

Post by scottme » Wed Jan 24, 2007 9:48 am

Hi all,

Does anyone know what value is the tone capacitor in a 72 Tele Thinline? It's Kind of hard to find info. New RI have 0.02uF.

I have a 0.01uF on mine, but I suspect it's not correct.

Here's a scan of the wiring diagram - can you zoom in? Looks like an .022uF.

Thanks for that Michael.

Isn't that a custom wiring diagram? I do imagine that they would be similar though. It's also odd that all the pots have different part numbers - I think they're all 1 Meg Audio.
