Holy hell, it looks newer than most new guitars.

My only concern is that it wouldn't intonate very well with that bridge... wonder if one of those Badass or Schaller adjustable types would work.

That is a gorgeous guitar. I've always loved the 4-string version, as well as the Epiphone Rivoli -- sweet basses
Yes, although Danelectro marketed the first baritone guitar IIRC.jcyphe wrote: Didn't this come out before the Bass VI?

Amazingly, they work pretty well as long as you use the string guages they were desined for. I used to own an EB-6 but sold it (...beats self with large stick!!!), but it was the SG body style with dual HB pickups. I never liked it E-E, but man it was great for B-B tuning but got out of tune the further up the neck you went.TheMilford wrote: My only concern is that it wouldn't intonate very well with that bridge... wonder if one of those Badass or Schaller adjustable types would work.
I've avoided this topic since I didn't want to be reminded what a fool I am! I sold it in '01 for about $3500 US, the last one I saw was priced at $12,500 US. Stupid choice, I should have kept it!
Here's a pic of the one they wanted $12.5K for; supposedly it was unstrung so no one would play it:

Mine did sound great, especially with both pickups on. I think it was wired out of phase, but it had a real "snappy" sound with both pups on. I've got to stop thinking about it or I'll get depressed :-\stereordinary wrote: That's pretty damn sweet too. I bet that thing sounds awesome plugged in. :-*
