Very nice (as are all the rest in this thread!). What pickup do you have in the bridge? the metal ring (?) around it adds that certain something that my tele is missing.
it's a pickup from some mij teisco thing. It's actually sitting in there with just gravity and some duct tape, as I had to cut the mounting tabs off for it to fit. It sounds really cool, but it's very underwound compared to the AVRI JM pickup in the neck.
I'm happy that my beast has OSG approval, the others here (esp. the infamous Gustav) are all really cool as well. I wonder what the members of TDPRI would think of this thread...

Thought it looked like one of those! Reminds me of a strat chop up Cardboard Robot did (which in turn reminds me of an Epi ET 270)

Yes, but you have to put something weird in the middle.

The lever that sort of looks like a short trem arm is a palm lever for the G bender.

Two Ideas.
Jack White's Triple jet has a middle pickup that's hooked up to an built in MXR boost. It's basically instant overdrive when he switches to the pickup.
Or you could go something funky like a Fernandez Sustainer. You know, just to be that guy.

How does this work out Re: the ferrules at the back? Do the strings share a tuner?
Otherwise, bloody cool - I might try this

My guess is that it's one of those hybrid bridges you can either topload or go string-through.

my thoughts aswell, however, the fact that the headstock is not in the picture is the main tease!
