I've switched from imgur to https://imgbb.com/ recently, I find it easier to use as it doesn't have a social network bolted to it.

Oh LORDY, be still my heart, that Greco is AMAZINGsecondhand wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2017 9:53 amHere are my MIJ "lawsuit" guitars . Took me awhile to come across both but glad I was patient and kept on it.
Ibanez 2365 (no name on headstock though). I made a truss rod cover and found some appropriate knobs on ebay.
Greco RG-80
One prior owner ditched the original Truss Rod cover and made a Ric copy with clear plexi and a photo copy placed underneath. Another owner added actual Ric pickups. I have since added new knobs and a Bigsby via a vibramate. I used one made for Telecasters but ditched the tele bridge part. I found the Reverb sale that brought it to the US while doing a google search for more info.

All 4 guitars I own are what we incorrectly label "lawsuits"... A Rick 620 Aria copy, Fresher Fender Mustang Copy, SG Greco, Samick Casino..

Re: Show your LAWSUIT guitars!!!
My early-70's Thomas Organ Co. MIJ Voxton Les Paul copy. It sat around a band practice space in the late 80s and I was the last one who had it when the band broke up. About ten years ago I shipped it back to one of my old bandmates. Cheaply built bolt-on. Had a top and back sandwiching an array of blocks which formed the interior cavities. Crap tuners, as expected. Much loud music was played on this.
I'm sure some Fender dealer in '64 looked at the new Duo-Sonic II and thought, "That's not a Duo-Sonic. That's a Mustang".

Re: Show your LAWSUIT guitars!!!
Thanks, the Greco is becoming one of my favourites, neck is a joy to play. The Mustang is also a solid and comfortable guitar but will need new frets soon. Overall very happy with both purchases

Re: Show your LAWSUIT guitars!!!
This ‘89 replaced my ‘73 Antoria LP, so figured it fits here.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?
