Bumping this post...loving the way the Alleykat looks with the Bigsby. I was lucky enough to pick up a 2000 MIK Alleykat (with TKL hardshell case) last year for only $140 off of Craigslist. I'm considering buying a Bigsby B7 off a guy on FB Marketplace and putting it on my Alleykat. I was wondering what Vibramate you ordered for this guitar and Bigsby B7? Vibramate's website says that only their V5 Vibramate fits onto the Alleykat. Were you successful using a V7 Vibromate, and if so, which one (V7-LP V7-335 V7-VW)?
Also...perhaps more importantly, how does the Alleykat play with the Bigsby B7 and Vibramate? Does it stay in tune? Has it held up in your collection over the years?
