NGD! Ibanez RC320
Just checked one of these out for the first time last night and was pretty impressed, range of tones available seemed pretty expansive, significantly higher output than any of the sub-$900 Teles, and felt like it played at least as good as any of them as well. I've been scoping out used Teles for the past several months but I think I might have caught the bug for one of these Ibanez. Direct competition as far a new guitars is a MIM Deluxe Thinline and a butterscotch Vintage Modified Squier. Neither of these seemed quite as satisfying tonally in stock form as the Ibanez but both felt good and solid (Squier slightly more so) and are actually Teles.
Never really checked out any Ibanez guitars before as my only exposure to them was shredder rigs (not that there's anything wrong w/ them...) Should I be able to expect one of these to hold up as well as one of the MIM Fender Teles or the nicer Squiers? Will this thing take a Bigsby?

Re: Talk to me about you Ibanez RC365H
LOL, nevermind
NGD!
Checked out every <$800 Tele they had in the other big music store as well as this red RC320 and a Chris Miller signature model they had that had a P90 replacing the neck humbucker. That thing was seriously rawk but what won me over to the red one was the full range, it doesn't quite twang, but it definitely has more present highs on the bridge than anything else I've got and has a really nice and saturated jazz tone on the middle and neck positions. Turn on the dirt and it's like an unholy union of a LP, an SG, and a Tele.
I wound up going back and playing the RC365H again and while it did a great Thinline Tele impression w/ a little more beef available, I just wasn't quite as into the tone overall, preferred the Tune-o-matic type bridge on the solid body, and it sounded like it would be more involved and dicey to get a Bigsby on there.

I saw one of those the other day but it was a model that was white without a guard. Maybe some binding. Pretty guitar. Yours is nicer.
This was it.

Re: NGD! Ibanez RC320
Thanks man! That was the other RC320 I played today, wasn't really as into the antique white either. The pickup combo seemed like it would be cool for maximum rocknroll sound, but I think a little too hot for what I want. The switchable humbucker/single coil in the bridge is pretty cool though. Made me think about putting switches into the red one.

Re: NGD! Ibanez RC320
i recently tried the semi-hollow roadcore. the bridge pickup was not my thing but the neck pickup was awesome. neck was a bit glossy for my liking but if i was given one, i would rock it.
offset guitars resident bass player.

I'm still trying to decide if it qualifies as an offset or if it's just a little wobbly.
I think I'd definitely enjoy the semi-hollow too, it handled just as well for me as the solid aside from my muscle memory for tune-o-matic bridges and I think the violin sunburst looks pretty beautiful to me for a $425-450 guitar. The solid body just seemed to cover more ground for me from a sound perspective.

Re: NGD! Ibanez RC320
Bought one last Saturday. Violin burst. Liked it better than the cherry burst Starcaster (heavy, disliked the neck feel). Using it with a Vox AD30VT. Fun. Even my wife noticed the neck pickup tone.
