The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

Exactly my thoughts… I'm building myself a tap tempo version… I just need to box it up… I just haven't had a chance to finish my own stuff...Ticker wrote:thepastrecedes wrote:FightingPlankton's Mu-tron Phaser OMG TONZ… honestly I need one too

It would be cool to hear demos of your pedals before you box and ship them off to your respective clients.

Pfft. I don't mind. I like staring into the unknown with wonder. I still want to make a demo but now the pedal is over at my practice space.

Okay... I'll do it for your univibe… If you don't mind it being out of an amp that sounds like your listening to something with your hands over your ears. My amp doesn't sound to great at low volumes, kinda muffled I'm living in a condo right now so I can't really turn it up with our my neighbours complaining I'll be moving to my house in august and the TONZ can begin.Telliot wrote:It would be cool to hear demos of your pedals before you box and ship them off to your respective clients.

Cool! If it's any consolation, I'm a big fan of recording DI guitars, so I wouldn't get too hung up on the amp.thepastrecedes wrote:Okay... Re: Pedal Building Time with ThePastRecedes
okay, so, my mu-tron hasnt made it here due to postal system being less than adequate at its job...but, in preparation for the demo i plan to do for it, I've been trying to learn songs that use a lot of phaser. I would ideally like to learn a song by someone that actually used the Mu-tron II, but aside from robin Trower, I can't find anyone that ever used it.
Lots of people used the bi-phase(which is just 2 phase II's in 1 box) but no one seems to have used this pedal.
so, questions:
1. Any of you know any musicians that use(d) a Mu-tron Phasor II?
2. Any song suggestions I should learn for the demo(besides "Shattered")?

Whoa!
It is awesome to see ThePastRecedes making pedals! I got a Super Duper 2-in-1 clone made last summer from him and it hasn't budged from my board since! This is all fantastic!
Are you taking in orders or is this all on and off depending on school?

I have two pedals from him as well an they are works of art. He actually got me back into building pedals again and I hope to some day grow up and be able to wire as neatly as he does.

I'm glad it's stayed there! I've kept one of those decals so I can make one for myself but not yet…hunterjames wrote:Whoa!

I'm not really taking orders, I didn't this summer either, since I was (am?) juggling 3 jobs. I just did a few of them for trades and such. I mainly worked on personal projects and my klone production run that seem to go pretty well.
Im always making stuff but you wanna talk PM/email me… I can guarantee you that I will be slow since I'll going back to school in two weeks.

Re: Pedal Building Time with ThePastRecedes
I will post them. I am a bit off of them for now. I am about to build the Black '65 next. Finished up an Orange Squeezer, Colorsound Overdriver, a Mayo and am boxing a Rat tonight. On deck are a DLS, Fuzzfactory, Back '65, Klone and a G2. I think I am going to take a stab at a chorus pedal and some delays after that.
