Some forums have the option of a WYSIWYG editor, where you have a lot of variables for font size, type, and other possibilities.
Seems to be standard fare.
Sure glad I'm not mentioning this somewhere else, if you know what I mean...

Re: WYSIWYG editor option?
We have that option as well but I removed those features for the sake of cleaner looking posts. I think it makes the board messy when font sizes start getting bigger, bolder, or colored. If it's something a large number of you feel that you'd prefer to have I'll be happy to add the options back in but it would not be my recommendation to do so.

Re: WYSIWYG editor option?
my vote is to stay how we are currently ..... messy boards with varying font size and font type, and colour literally give me a headache. having the bold, underline, itellics is enogh for me...
my 2 cents worth

relaxing alternative to doing actual work ...

I wouldn't mind it if we could use and html tags. It'd be a lot easier for me to compose posts in BBEdit and paste in the posting box.

How 'bout if I paid for some more stars?

I brought up as the feature is available on the Dudepit - a bass-centric forum
but very few use use it. However, they are quite heavy on those pesky emoticons
