Cool Headstock Decal Site
In my quest to build a Bass VI, I came across a cool site that lets you design your own headstock decals. I was planning on making up a model name for my Bass VI project, as to avoid the legal issues with making up a Fender one. Check out www.best-decals.com Go to the "Make your own Decal" section.

Looks like they do vinyl die-cut decals as opposed to waterslide decals. Definitely cool for custom products, but wouldn't be my first choice for vintage-style.

I see they're back. They were down for a while, I assumed they got sued. I have used 2 of their products. I have their John-Mayer style racing stripe on one of my strats, and on my tele, I have their (oversized, almost completely accurate) fender logo on the headstock.
Here's a picture. That's with a couple coats of satin poly on top.

They cover all the bases I guess.fullerplast wrote: I like the way they offer Christian decals AND witchcraft / adult themes.... ???
I also found some ebay sellers that offer waterslide decals, with metallic inks, in Fender styles. I need to make up a cool fake guitar company name for my decal.

BTW: Vintagemojo have updated their assortment with Jaguar decals...and Mustang bass...mmmmm...
nearly complete line-up there - only the Jazzy transit decals that's missing now (and late 70's JM with serial number on headstock).

Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?
