Telestang project
Hello there.
Once I found that I want a full-scale mustang, but I wanted it to be beautiful (and it was mosty good looking due to it's chromed vibrato) and I decided to use tele parts. So what we have: mustang body, tele hardware and strat neck.
Let's discuss!
P.S. Can anybody tell me where can I find tele-style bridge for humbucker and what manufacturer it should be? Gotoh, babicz, mighty mite or smth else?
P.P.S. I still didn't decide what colour I want it to be.

I actually like that a lot. It would also probably look really good with the "Jag Stang Done Right" body and Tele parts.
As far as the bridge, I'd bet Gotoh makes something. I know I've seen some like that on the Warmoth site.

Re: Telestang project
I'm sure the GFS one would be totally fine based on my experience with other GFS stuff but I actually have a Gotoh humbucker Tele bridge and that thing is awesome. Super simple and solid!kdanie wrote:GFS sells a tele HB bridge for $15.

I decided to make it red'n'black. Bridge was available only in black and it left me no choice. But I tried to make it in different style considering black parts.

my photoshop skills arent as good as yours, but have you done a mockup of white pickguard on white body with black pickup covers and hardware? if it were mine, thats how i'd do it...with black binding too...
What is acoustic? Oh, you means a grandpa's guitars? A grandpa's guitars? That's for pussies and grandpas. I think you know it.

Well, that's not binding - just a contour. But I'll try to make it tomorrow.FightingPlankton wrote:my photoshop skills arent as good as yours, but have you done a mockup of white pickguard on white body with black pickup covers and hardware? if it were mine, thats how i'd do it...with black binding too...
