The worst is when people call their guitars female pronouns and tigers worse and worse all the time. Seeing dudes say "this is my new little girl and I can't stop touching her" just screams fedora atheist to me. Please stop calling yr guitars "her" it's dumb as hell and really gross.

How every for sale as anywhere starts with "I hate to sell this and I love it but I need something else." NO SHIT DUDE WHY ELSE WOULD YOU BE SELLING SOMETHING?

The lack of easily accessible replacement parts for semi-older stuff. Certain grill patters, knobs, etc. are impossible to find when they aren't that different from more commonly-used versions. I'm having the worst time trying to find a replacement grill for my old Sunn, it's just the dumbest thing that you can't just order a common looking louvered pattern piece of aluminum anywhere without it being a big deal.

The reverse of this is equally annoying, i.e. bands that chat with friends from the stage after they're done, are slow to pack up, put their gear in everyone's way, etc...

you mean in the context of : "... hey when you rock up we can grab a bite and then leave at about 2pm..."

I have actually used the term "rock" as a verb when in Korea and not wanting the translator to correctly explain what I was saying to my (aussie) english speaking colleagues

Locking tuners.

The fact that Duesenberg think their guitars are worthy of that name.

Also, blindly replacing all of the capacitors in vintage amps.

The thing that gets me at the moment is on Gibson VOS finish guitars...they tint the binding, dull the finish, dull the hardware...BUT leave the edge of the pickguard bright freaking white! Does my head in!

Oh and the bright white nut....

'For sale' ads with one photo, or many poor quality photos most of which show random parts of the guitar with nothing special to see. Also ads with not one photo of a whole (head to toe) guitar, just a bunch of fragments.

You'd hate me, then... fuck non-locking tuners.

I guess put me down for that. I have no idea why tuner technology is little more advanced than it was hundreds of years ago.
