Roger Mayer fuzz face- silicon KN3906 transistors with 1984 date code
Hey, does any body know KN3906 transistors? I haven´t heard anything like that before....It should be on a Roger Mayer fuzz.. Thanks

I made a reply in your other thread. The 2N3906 is a common PNP Silicon transistor. Mayer used them in the Axis and Stone fuzz and probably a few others. I think he used the BC183 as well. Modern circuits use the 2N3904 as a NPN replacement so current draw is proper on modern power supply pedalboards. You will have to power this with a 9volt battery or use a dedicated power supply so you don't fry the pedal = no daisy chaining.
