A dyna bolt & a soldering iron will do it. You can pack out the dyna with paper, which also helps not to marr the thimbles.

Is that buckling just a matter of the screw holes being slightly off or it pushing up too tight against the neck? Or is it bent?

I had the same buckling thing happen when I put my aluminum guard on my CP JM. It’s so minor on mine (though I can see it when I’m looking down at the guitar) that I’ve decided I don’t care enough to do anything about it. :) In my case, I’m 100% sure that it had to do with the screw holes not being perfectly aligned.

That guard looks really nice. I think it only works with a worn/non-gloss finish body. And this is great!

Yeah I think the guard's screw hole in that spot is ever so slightly off, and there's not much I can do about it. It's pretty minor, only noticeable from that angle, I think I will just live with it.

Mastery bridge, Staytrem collet and arm (bought used), US locking trem, D’Addario 11-52s installed, SKB case. Ready to go finally! If only I could say the same for my amps...
