Seen an Oly White 62 JM advertised. Very good condition. Photos show all white in the neck pocket. Is this correct? Did the paint stick arrive later?

I'd bet a large amount on refin. Back of neck seems a little suspect to me, as well.

this guitar has come up already. I'll repeat : with no close-ups of the super-bright paint, a plain headstock, and two close-ups of an amplifier (?!) tag, etc, I'm certain it's a refin.

My '62 jag was re-fretted recently, most likely the same factory process applied to Jazzmasters too of that period:

May would be OK for no paint stick, definitely. ‘62 & ‘63 JMs in Oly White often did not have coating so they can be almost ‘dental’ white with no yellowing, but, with all those other unoriginal pieces and the absence of other wear makes it suspect, would need to see it in person to be certain!
