installed tuners today. Worked on the finish on the body as well. I need to load up the pick guard and drill it for the rotary switch and screws.

Amazing work, but I think you should reconsider the burst.

You're almost there!! How long has this whole process taken you?

I started on Aug 18th. I don't work on it everyday. I was traveling for 2 weeks in early Sept. I am keeping a work chart just see how many actual hours I put in. So far, I'm up to about 40 hours.

I have a lot of respect for you. That’s super impressive. I saw you asking on another topic about wiring diagrams... I’m afraid I cannot help too much, but I am borderline stupid when it comes to guitar stuff and I googled it and found it. If you end up not being able to track it down let me know I can see if I saved it in my files.

What’s next on your build list? I really want to do a type 1 stealth pickup maurader build ...

I have found wiring diagrams for the XII, but they all show the vintage rotary switch. What does yours look like ? Do you have any pics of it ? I have 2 guitar builds I was in the midst of when I started the XII. I also have a Dumble style amp build that I've had on hold for almost a year that I haven't even started. Here's a couple of pic of the builds I was in the midst of. The flamed one in the middle is done.

Latest progress, wiring is done, again, had to replace the rotary switch, copper tape installed, and a mockup just to check fit. I received the aftermarket string tree. I need to clean up the wiring before final install, and where the blue tape is, the PG needs to be shaped a bit. Can't wait to get to playing this. Still some final neck leveling and intonation. You know, all the final tweaks......
