Yeah, I thought everyone pronounced it that way!
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Man, I would love that guitar. Why don't I have one of those?

Haha ...I think it falls into the category of 'words we also used to say like that, then we changed, and America stuck with the olde way', so it doesn't bother me. Certainly made me go ...YOO WOT MATE!? when I heard it in this vid though!

Larvely guitar by the way!

For real. FOR REAL.

I often wonder why I didn’t have the brains to just start setting aside a little money every month for a few years when I was 18, but I thought “I’ll never be able to pay $1000 for a (player-grade) ‘62 Strat.” That’s what a couple of them sold for in Atlanta back then. I could have scrounged that. I could have at least caught one before they hit $2000, I bet.

But I didn’t.

I spent more than that on basses. Amps, too. So many basses, so many amps. So many fucking tubes. Almost all of them are gone, but the sadness remains.

All I wanted was a ‘62 Strat.
