My first synth, a Christmas present from my wife: Arturia Minibrute 2, synced up with a PO-12

Currently resisting the urge to leap head first down the synth GAS rabbit hole - I need learn how this thing works first. Really, really enjoying it so far.

Damn, that's a sweet setup!!! I'm trying to grok how to sync my PO-12 to my Volca Keys.

I imagine the answer is similar, but I want to know how to sync my monotron delay with my volca beats

I don't think you can sync a Monotron delay with anything, it's just a processor like any other effect pedal (that doesn't have midi or clock).

Ok sync is probably not the right word. I want delay on my drums. It would be awesome also if I could sync my thermae to the volca beats through midi

Ah cool. In that case, should be easy enough! I think the Monotron delay is mono, which makes it a little iffy when running anything stereo into it, from what I remember.

My impulse control as gone completely to hell. I just bought a "Platinum Edition" MicroKorg from Kraft Music. :fp:

Upside- clearance priced.

I see nothing wrong with that, Maggie. :)

I on the other hand am considering trading away a few synths... My Roland SH-2000 and my Moog Prodigy. They're a bit too limited for me and the lack of midi/CV kind of puts a damper on things and I don't love their sound enough to have them modded.

Now what would I trade them for?

ARRRRRRGH!!!

The power cord got pulled out of my Moog Grandmother yesterday and today it's bricked. All I get is a low frequency "buhp" from it at a very slow tempo. :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Am I fucked? What can be done?

It was so fantastic.

Oof, is it not still under warranty? I'd imagine it's an easy fix. Are there any authorized Moog warranty centres?

:o That shouldn't happen with a new Moog product :(
Please allow me one stupid question: are you 100% sure that none of the current settings / knobs are simply causing that weird sound? I am only asking because a friend of mine almost sold a new MS20 mini as "defect not working" but all was fine again after turning the frequency modulation knobs back to zero, he suddenly got "normal" sounds of of it :freako:
Is the modulation wheel back at zero?

I hope it's not broken, but if so, I'm positive it'd still be under some sort of warranty. These have been out for what, 6 months? A year? Try sending an email to Moog at the very least.

Yeah, it's broken. I'm sending to Moog ASAP.
