Wondering how you confirmed these have the correct spacing? I ask because some of the Marr model/finishes come with bridges with the incorrect spacing.

"Genuine Fender American Professional / Johnny Marr Jaguar bridge assembly 7.25″ radius and 2-3/32″ string spacing."
2-3/32" = 53.2mm
Also the part number (7712971000) is different to the original Marr bridge part number (0091905000).
But I can't recall if anyone who ordered from Riley's earlier batch of this bridge has confirmed the narrower E-E spacing.
The curious thing is that Riley lists this bridge as an American Pro / Marr bridge. The part number for the Am Pro bridge was / is (?) 7709942000 ... unless they have changed that guitar too ... but the Am Pro neck is 9.5" and the Marr 7.5". Riley still sells that 9.5" Am Pro bridge, and lists the spacing as 2-1/16" (ie 52.4mm ... narrower !) .. which it never was AFAIK.

Re: Johnny Marr Jag bridges in stock
From Fender in response to an inquiry for the part number to the 52mm Marr bridge.
If I understand correctly the first wave of Marr bridges DID NOT have 52mm spacing, which could explain the other part number. It is odd that he has AM Pro in the title but I think thats just a mistake as he has AM pro bridges in a separate listing. It is odd that he has its spacing listed as slightly more narrow than the Marr bridge, perhaps another mistake?
At any rate I ordered one and I'm hoping it will be here Saturday. I will report back with measurements.

Fender American Pro Johnny Marr Jaguar Bridge Assy 7712971000
this is what i ordered.
it's 52.5mm (or thereabouts, can't find my best scale)
absolutely 7.25" radius
first run was 55mm, which is a huge difference.

Re: Johnny Marr Jag bridges in stock
As well as the narrow E-E spacing, the 7712971000 Marr bridge also has the anti-sink bushings like Staytrem (as did the original Marr bridge) ...

Thought I’d probably still need a Staytrem but the new Marr bridge is perfect as it is. Nice to be positively surprised

It used to be that only staytrem had the closer spacing. If these are in fact the same spacing, there's really not that much of a difference.takeittothemall wrote: ↑Fri Feb 22, 2019 1:57 pmI'm new to this topic. What differentiates this from a Staytrem?

Main features of newer Marr bridge vs Staytrem ...takeittothemall wrote: ↑Fri Feb 22, 2019 1:57 pmI'm new to this topic. What differentiates this from a Staytrem?
Same as Staytrem:
- ~52mm E-E spacing (only on newer 7712971000, not original Marr 0091905000 which is ~56mm)
- anti-sink bushings
On Staytrem but not Marr:
- intonation screws have nylon washers instead of springs
- intonation screws are offset from the line of the strings for easier adjustment
- 9.5" radius also available (Marr is 7.25" only)

Also I read somewhere that the Marr saddles are made of a different metal than the old reissue mustang bridge saddles, steel instead of zinc perhaps? - can anyone confirm?
I am not sure what the stay-trem saddles are made of.

Re: Johnny Marr Jag bridges in stock
Got my bridge Saturday. One thing to note; the bridge posts are too thick to install with a Jaguar mute - you will have to use a dremel with the cone shaped bit to widen the oval shape holes by about 1mm.
