Talking new Amps. Another one here for the Tone Kings...

Also of interest are the new 57 Pro Custom Series by Fender....

I'm also a fan of the recent new Ltd. Production Vox 60th Anniv. British Built AC15's & AC30's....

All Pricey but great Amps!

The Milkman stuff seems to tick almost all of your boxes as well as your non-essential plus boxes.
https://milkmansound.com/collections/amplifiers

Looks like they carry 'em at TR Crandall.
The nice thing is, you've also got a ton of room for customization with speakers, extension cabs and aesthetic.
Oh! I also just realized that they offer a reverb w/harmonic trem stand-alone unit 8)

MILKMAN AMPS …. ?

I want there to be a boutique amp manufacturer who names his company and amps like :

"We ripped off Fender designs and features and sell them for three times what vintage amps cost - Deluxe Rip Off 22 Watts"
relaxing alternative to doing actual work ...

But really...
why stop at just amps? You can add the bulk of boutique guitars and effects pedals to that list as well.

I'd seriously consider something like these as they are Pro quality Amps from well known Companies. They are the best of what most of us are looking for. Also, if & when it comes time to sell them on you won't lose your A$$.....

Another vote for Swart.

Benson (specifically the Monarch)

At Mars (technically re-purposing of old amps). I love my Specialist. Sold my Dr. Z Carmen Ghia to buy it.
Recorded with my Specialist today. What a fucking glorious sounding amp. It’s one of those pieces of gear like an 1176 or a Neve preamp or an old Martin that lends an air of legitimacy to anything you play through it.

What kind of flavor is that amp?

Awesome in a Neil Young sort of way?

It a reworking of a Filmosound circuit. Two 6V6, so kind of in Princeton territory but with a more aggressive midrange. There’s not a lot of low end grunt if that’s your thing, but if that’s what you want a 15W amp isn’t going to do it.

His playing isn’t really my thing but the Lance Keltner demos for Destroy All Guitars on Youtube portray the sound of the amp pretty well.

I’ll have an EP full of Specialist toanz one of these days.

What about one of the Bassbreakers. Unless you are trying to avoid Fender altogether. Good bang for the buck...

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, especially only being heads, but I have 2 Frenzel amp heads, one is based on the Deluxe & Plexi (no switching, 2 separate inputs into 2 different preamps) and the other is the retro Deluxe (tweed version), and the Plexi, and I upgraded it with the option to turn the Plexi into a JCM800 by pulling a knob. They also make an AC30/Matchless (I think it is) head that I'd like to get one day.

They're 30 watts, (or 50) not ridiculously expensive, and I think you can get certain options like tremolo, if you want. They're nice, and kind of a best of both worlds thing. Built to order, takes about a month or so, I think.

Match with your choice of cabs.

Thanks for the ideas everyone.

I've got two things I'll be investigating, including Fender, which would be my first choice for a couple of reasons.

If neither of those works out, I'll proceed from there by investigating some of these other ideas.
