My Les Paul has the same marks, but in a different place... stands melt nitrocellulose.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

I feel like a new dad with a fragile child. Cases and straps can melt the finish. OH GOD WHAT DO I GET!!???

(I got a Dog Tired white cotton strap with plain leather ends and a Version two Gibson Protector case like it would have came with.)

The high E broke. I think the strings are old. While the strings are off, I got pics of the bridge and stop tail. I also used some wood oil on the fretboard. Looking nice!

You love your new guitar so much. It's great to see.

OMG, that is one of the best LPs I have ever seen! :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :?

Ever since I saw Pete Townshend playing a Deluxe with the minihums, I wanted one. You have won the guitar internet today!

Thanks! I was stuck on it as soon as I saw the body. No fancy flame, but still beautiful wood. I respect your taste in guitars a lot and appreciate your thoughts. <3

Thanks! New strings on. Sounds beautiful. Kinda like a louder noiseless single coil. Less meat than a full humbucker, but in a cool way.

I've owned many Les Pauls over the years...the most memorable was a Black 1978 Deluxe. Just a KILLER guitar!

Freaking gorgeous dude! That finish is beautiful, espically compared to those clown burst deluxes. Those mini hums are really a treat as well. There aren't many Les Pauls I'd consider owning, but that is one of the few. Enjoy it!

Thanks! I am pretty sure these protector cases are safe for the finish. I still check it every few hours. LOL

I don't like the way Les Pauls look, except for the Deluxe with the minis. There's something about it. (I like Juniors and Specials with the single tailpiece just fine too.)

The mini humbucker ones kind of catch my eye as something off. Not in a bad way, but I am so used to Les Pauls with humbuckers, the smaller pickups look kind of right, but different enough for a double take. :D

This is exactly why I’ve been gassing for one lately, they just catch the eye ...and then you had to go and get such a lovely one, huh, Chris?! :D
