Of these, my preference is #4 because the straignt across PG ties the bridge to it. I do like it with the Vee string anchor holes.

I concur! What are you using these for Jake? Homemade amps, or just building some cabinets to transplant an already built amp?

Painted the pickguard a light tan color, similar to a light khaki pair of pants. Unfortunately, the color does not really show that well in the photo below. I've also been working on the neck, and that is close to having finish applied to it. I haven't decided whether to use an oil/varnish or spray lacquer.

They are cabs for homemade amps. I have transformers for 3 so far, and I made a couple extra cabs while I had everything set up, there was enough wood in 1 4 x 8 sheet that I couldn't stop :D So 2 are 14 x 16 x 9 (pro jr) 10" speaker, 2 are 16 x 18 x 9 1/2 (blues jr) 12" speaker, 1 is 18 x 20 x 10 1/2 (almost hot rod deluxe) 12" speaker. The Hot Rod will have a 6L6 version of Rob Robinette's Blackvibe. One of the BJs will be a 6V6 Blackvibe and I'm hoping I can stuff a Blackvibe in one of the PJ cabs for more of a travel rig. Eventually the other PJ will be a Blackface Champ and I don't have a plan for the second BJ cab yet. Next I'm going to prep a couple of these for paint like some of the fender amps but without the flowers or paisley.

My brother is a welder/ machinist so ill stop by his place and bend the chassis for them all.

The PJ is getting the Eminence GA10-SC64 10", the HR is getting a Eminence Reignmaker (was looking for a mavrick but this came up cheap).

That is amazing all around! Make sure to post pictures of the amplifier electronics build, and well, just everything else. I, as I'm sure many other are, am very interested.

Also, woodworker's geeky question: do you have a circle cutting jig for the baffle speaker holes, or do you just wing it with something like a jig saw, and sand it to the mark later? I'm about to build a circle cutting jig for router, and I'm curious what you're using.

Thanks Rgand and Shadoweclipse13 ! ;)

I do all this part-time, when I have time, so no production, only pure passion...

I have some hum issues to cure with the biggest one, the Serial Tone Killer - I absolutely can't stand hum ! - So he is not finished yet...

The 2 smaller are awaiting construction - I built these 3 cabs last summer : you see the picture... Of my slowness... :(

Some years ago, I have built several funny small amps... :freako:

Those are all beautiful amps. Very fine work, there. I'd be hard-pressed to decide on a favorite.
