Agree with others above. Out of curiosity, maple or rosewood fretboard? Also, is that an ungrainfilled ash body?

Maple fretboard
The body is a replacement for my fender baja tele - the old one was too heavy when I added the bigsby.
The body is grainfilled with dark grain filler so it shows through.
I use water based grainfiller and automotive lacquer - the water based filler shrinks and helps give it that aged appearance.
I am leaning towards the tortoise too.
Thanks

Re: What's on your workbench right now?
I decided to make something out of a Telerauder body I had lying around. I was making it for a forum member here but got the string-through holes goofed up and had to make another one for him. This will now be a practice tool for painting and trying a few new things. I still need to drill and dowel the holes and start over on mounting a bridge. I'm calling it the Bobber.
It went from 4lbs 4oz to 3lbs 11oz. I'll loose a bit more because I'm going to rout for a bridge humbucker.
It'll end up something like this.

working on this:
hopefully have some paint on soon. have a lot of sanding to do first, after the initial routing.

That looks great. I like the little ")" on the lower heel. It balances it beautifully.

This is really cool. Be sure to post pics when it's finished. What are the specs going to be?
