This nasty stray dog f/s locally. Not that I'd want to buy it or anything (yeah of course not...) but WHAT IS IT?!
I seem to have it on the tip of my tongue.

I seem to remember that the great, sadly lost, Mr. Orang Goreng used to have one of these and restored it. It has a 4+2 headstock but not the typical Teisco one.

That is most likely a Soviet copy of the Teisco Spectrum 5. The pickups are a dead giveaway and if you look closer it has a bunch of small touches that are almost arts-and-crafts-y despite probably being manufactured in huge quantities in industrial settings. There seems to have been some kind of Japanese influence on Soviet guitar production as you'll find instruments with Motorik-lookalike vibratos et cetera. I guess maybe they made a point out of not aping American guitars too much.

I forgot the name of these but apparently they were mostly imported by a dutch guitar shop (or made just for them)

HsinMi seems to be the name, but no one on the Internet seems to remember where these were made...
