Hey everyone. I'd be curious to know what you guys think of the new Squier Classic Vibe Jazzmaster line. Have you seen them in person? How do they sound? Build quality, fit and finish? Weight and balance? Why do they put a walnut stripe? Which finish do you like or would you like added to the series? Is there a drop in replacement trem with locking mechanism? Do these come with 1 meg pots? The string spacing looks perfectly aligned with the bridge pickup and leaving enough clearance on the edges of the fretboard. It looks quite narrow though, do you know what the exact string spacing is on these modified bridges ? (edit: the low E is out of the saddle slot in the picture below, which makes the string spacing look odd)
They look like a great backup guitar or even more. Any informative input is welcome.
I'm quite partial to the Sonic Blue finish :

Re: Squier Classic Vibe Jazzmaster
I played one in the store the other day...I was impressed with the neck. I thought it was a bit fatter than the neck on my Vm Jm.
If I was a byrd, I'd be mighty sore every time they shut the door and I don't think I'd sing...

Wow, gold mine of info here :

It says there that the string spacing is 52mm which is the same as on the American Original '60s JM. Cool !
