This Jazzmaster isn't a Fender, is it? The pickguard and the strap button location look wrong, and the body wood doesn't really look like alder or ash? Is it an MIJ of some sort?

22 fret neck - woodgrain looks like it (was) kinda nice though.

When I was like 12 I wondered why guitars didn’t have internal speakers - I guess a 3” speaker would pass for busking or practice duties but it looks like that one still needs to be plugged in separate to the input Jack with a cable

The beauty of this design is if you build the speaker to fit the regular vibrato plate and route, and mount on the same screw holes, and even add some slots so you can hardtail it, you could have a fully reversible amp mod for travelling.
Someone get on this!

This isn’t a vintage example but it’s super fucked up offensive regardless because people are monsters

When you want to do a light relicing job and suddenly realize that poly is not nitro - you just have to use "Vintage" somewhere in the description and someone is going to buy it anyway:

From the description:
"Der Body sowie Pick Guard wurde von mir zum Vintage Style bearbeitet."

Alright, I admit it, I'm actually impressed with this one. The conversion was apparently done over 35 years ago which makes it excusable, and whoever did the work did a really neat job of it. Not that it matters much as the neck is going to be on some fuckstain's soooooper-unique Jazzmaster project by next week.
Now I just need to find some decent information about relicing the poly finish to better match the neck.
