Not wrong, but if I gotta buy it, build it, and hear it I might as well enjoy it.
I think I've fully decided on the blonde deluxe anyway.

There are tweed vibrolux kits, fwiw. It will be slightly more involved than a 5e3, but at least you’ll have some documentation for what to do. They are NICE sounding amps with moderate (but gigable) volume levels. Also, each of the three inputs has a different level of volume. Nifty feature. The tweed Princeton is essentially the same, only without the trem.

They also make tweed princeton kits.
I do like the tweed vibrolux. Yeah those three inputs are really cool, can you link them like a 5e3?wproffitt wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 12:49 amThere are tweed vibrolux kits, fwiw. Sorry- I meant that the blackface Princeton is close to the vibrolux. The tweed Princeton is a completely different amp- single ended, no tremolo, etc etc:
But there are quite a few similarities between the BF Princeton and the Vibrolux: a pair of 6V6s (instead of just one), cathodyne phase inverter, 10" speaker, etc etc.
