I like the ability to change knobs on amps, pedals, and even guitars. I've done that with a number of pedals and my custom amp. I'm not a big fan of chicken head knobs either.marqueemoon wrote: ↑Wed Apr 01, 2020 4:41 pmToo many goddamn chickenhead knobs. This makes my brain hurt.

I’m cool with them being on my Voxes, they look right. They just can’t be on everything.

frankly i'm annoyed Sunn perfected amp design in the 1970s. nothing thats made today looks this good, this clean and timeless.
i wish everything just copied this look. they even have a great logo unlike 99% of guitar companies.
the roland jazz chorus comes close, but still looks more a relic of its time than the sunn does. every vox, marshall, orange and fender amp look cheesy in comparison, which in a way works (especially via brand recognition), but its all kind of ugly. peavey seems to make butt ugly stuff on purpose, which i respect at least.

I can’t stand wanking. I’d rather meditate on my tinnitus than hear tuneless loops around the root. I think that is one style that really needs to stop, then maybe guitar music can evolve.

Then you should try sitting down to do it.I can’t stand wanking
But seriously, it’s pretty subjective - one person’s guitar wanking may be another person’s inspired playing. From your comment it sounds like you’re referring to blues/pentatonic riffery, is that right?

Chicken head knobs suck. They look like they belong on antique ovens and cooking ranges, not on amps and guitars.
This is an excellent rectangle

Or lay down, or something. Put on some candles. Treat yourself to a nice night in.
What the rush? Unless this is some kind of prison scenario.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.
