We gave away a wrapped Squier '51 at a show a few years back.
Now I want it back.

Yup. A couple months ago I was gobsmacked to see a Squier Jazzmaster Baritone go for $1,325 in an open bidding auction on eBay.
That's more than triple what they were sold for when they were new, and about $1,100 more than I paid for mine three years ago.

I just know that a bunch of JHS shit will go through the roof.
Probably after Josh makes a video about his discontinued pedals.

Agreed. I think that has the possibility to become rare and valuable in ten-fifteen years time. But then again one could just go and get an original or a 70's instead.

I think the baritone squires being that much is a fad. They’re “okay”. But not worth $1300.

Speaking of, those original Vista Super Sonics being listed for $1,000 - $1,500 or anything more than, like, $500 is a disgrace to the Christian world
The only person of any kind of higher stature I’ve ever seen playing one is Nick Rinehart and he’s not exactly at Kurt Cobains popularity level.

Omar Rodriguez-Lopez of At the Drive In/The Mars Volta used a Super Sonic for a really long time before he started using Ibanez guitars.Mechanical Birds wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 11:13 amSpeaking of, those original Vista Super Sonics being listed for $1,000 - $1,500 or anything more than, like, $500 is a disgrace to the Christian world

Mars Volta were hugely influential a decade ago, when he was using them. At least amongst the musicians in my region. They were getting overplayed for a while by everyone I knew.
No idea who Nick Rinehart is, although I probably heard of his band from a thread here.
