Yes I don’t know how I came across FACS on YT but glad I did! Sadly unlikely they will come to the UK after the pandemic cancelled tour but who knows?
I think the JC40 supplies a base OD sound (apparently these sound ok at drive). I believe that the blue pedal is an HR-2 so earlier Harmoniser before they got too perfect and Brian May.
I’m not sure the Particle is on much. I think the main sound is the HR-2 with the Context.

Drove from Las Vegas to Phoenix the other day to see the tour kickoff. FACS were absolutely incredible, and got to speak to Brian about some gear after the show (And unfortunately, too many beers for me to recall all the details). METZ were fantastic as always, but I was admittedly a little underwhelmed by Preoccupations. First show in 25 months though so I can understand the cobwebs.
It's just a standard reissue JC40. His Jazzmaster has Lollar P90s in them; Most of the set seemed to be just the Jazzmaster and amp. The one I noticed he seemed to hit the most was the Context for the spacey lead lines and whatnot. He told me about the orange one, but, well.... Alcohol and the five hour drive had me forgetful.

Looks like an Industrial Electric RM-1N, a dirty reverb and boost…CrookedRainJr wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 2:40 pmHe told me about the orange one, but, well.... Alcohol and the five hour drive had me forgetful.

For those that missed FACS on their most recent tour (myself included) they’ve released the remaining vinyl copies of the above video for Bandcamp Friday…

Grabbed a copy too, really love the vibe of the live version and probably prefer it to the studio release.
"I don't know why we asked him to join the band 'cause the rest of us don't like country music all that much; we just like Graham Lee."

Reviving a dead thread just because I've been obsessed with this performance all year. The drums and bass are just so heavy here...!parry wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 4:23 amFirst off - YES!
I have been obsessed with this video since it came out. I think there's something about the way this is mixed more bass-forward, that I prefer a bit more than on the proper recording.
With regard to your pedal question... I gleaned (from elsewhere) that the white pedal is a Red Panda Particle. And I believe the black pedal is a Red Panda Context (v1). If I were to guess on the ZVex pedal, I'd say Wooly Mammoth.
Always loved Case's bands, but FACS is just on another level.
But I feel like the bass playing isn't getting enough love here. Her tone is unreal. Is it just the Traynor, or is there anything else going on? She's got a few pedals going on. A moog, some other things...but just her straight distorted tone is perfect!

Re: Can someone help me ID some pedals? Brian Case from FACS
I just saw them recently and they were amazing, I think they switched things up compared with that video. I did sneak this picture of Brian's pedalboard after the show, apologies for the quality and for missing the last pedal on the right, but hopefully this helps. I think you guys are right about the Red Panda Particle and the Boss Harmonist PS6.
I'm really curious about the big orange pedal with 10 knobs, that looks like something custom. The one on the far right that got cut off, it's got 4 knobs on top, then one larger knob in the middle. The design of it reminds me of Death by Audio, but I don't think it's one of theirs.
