1978 Musicmaster
2020 Squier Bronco bass (modded since this pic was taken)
That's all I got. I'm more of a two pickup person, although I use the bridge pickup like 97% of the time.

My one and only (for the moment) - Squier Classic Vibe '60s Custom Esquire with a Fender CS Texas Special bridge pickup and cream pickguard I got off of Amazon. My overhead lights make it brighter than it is, so I added a natural light one, too.

This thread has motivated me for a future single pickup build.

Those are awesome guitars. I had one without a pickup. Wish I had kept it.Bradley-Jazz wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2023 9:02 amI've just got one too - Godin Kingpin.
It is a very, very nice guitar. I should play it more.

Cheers, yes, they just seem to have thought about each bit of it really carefully and done the right thing.BoringPostcards wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2023 1:39 pmThose are awesome guitars. Plus it makes fantastic woofy feedback noises with a bit of gain!

ooo I used to have the 2 pickup version, definitely one of the best guitars I've ever had. Unfortunately had to sell it long time ago.MayTheFuzzBeWithYou wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2023 12:20 amCornetto the ice cream? We have that as well… but I‘m slightly too young for that specific ad.
There is an EKO CO1 (one just like this) for sale in Austria for - I think they look awesome but could use a small (or big) black pickguard.
Here's a quick demo I made with it
but my all time fav single pickup guitar is my Telecaster style guitar called "T-plank" made by amazing czech luthier Ondrej Vlk (The Wolf Guitars)
It came with this "pearl white" finish that yellowed over time and I decided to decorate it with an ukranian flag when the war started - imo looks much better.
The sole pickup in it is Tuma Pickups Wide Range in a p90 form - I had chance to A/B it with OG '74 Thinline with original WRHBs and it was amazingly close!
I used it a lot in the studio, it can be heard most prominently in this song - the T-plank is panned to the left.

I was bummed to not find the pink one when I was looking for one myself, so I bought the black one !
It has tapewounds strings and an AliExpress Special rail humbucker, sounds ok and is an absolute joy to play. I put on some white strat knobs since.

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately for my pocket, Kauer Guitars don't make this model anymore

Turns out I'm about 10 years too young to remember that particular advert but I still remember it.... and I don't know why. Unless they brought it back some time in the mid-late nineties for when I was a young, properly sentient and impressionable child.
Anyway, here are my 3 single pickup guitars:

They ran it for about 20 years I think, with the same theme song (or variants of) so I don't doubt you heard it on the TV in the 90s
I did consider other colours but the binding is white and I like the cohesiveness of the tuxedo look.UlricvonCatalyst wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 12:41 amCrying out for cream guard(s) and truss rod cover, to be sure!

I was just riffing on the Guiness harp. Black with white is of course the best colour scheme for Rickenbackers.

I got that. The reason the harp is on there is because it reminds me of a pint of Guinness - and it's my go-to drink anywhere that does a decent pint of it.UlricvonCatalyst wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 4:34 amI was just riffing on the Guiness harp.
