This listing is close to me and I am talking to the seller to get more pictures/info and possibly see the guitar in person. It looks to be in overall great condition. I can see that the nut has been changed. I want to verify to the dates of the components. Anything else in particular I should look for? I have been into Jazzmasters not Jaguars to date. Curious of your thoughts.

Your link posted kinda goofy, so I fixed it here.

But also, there's no way in hell that a real 1962 Jaguar is selling for $3500 with zero provenance.

Was going to say the same! It’s definitely a refin at very least. But were that an original fiesta 62 it’d be worth around $15k at least.

If it's too good to be true...... rest assured it is.
But even if it was hypothetically real, this is the kind of thing where get an address and race down there with cash. Not post about it on the internet!
Glad you didn't send any money, though.

Thanks for that, I was suspicious with the price. I have seen a few listings like that but usually I can find the pictures they borrowed if I search a little. This time I couldn't so I sent an email through Craigslist with some questions about it and for more pics and what's interesting is that he tried to respond with some details but they didn't really make sense and of course, no more pictures. Back to my Jazzmaster. Cheers!caples wrote: ↑Mon Dec 11, 2023 4:17 pmHey man im really sorry to tell you but that's a scam. those pics were on reverb originally and have sense been used for scams.wastedyouth wrote: ↑Mon Dec 11, 2023 10:53 amThis listing is close to me and I am talking to the seller to get more pictures/info and possibly see the guitar in person.
