Inspired by Gibson Custom
I'm Firebird I curious, but I can't get along with SGs and would probably have a tougher time with these. Still though...

FFS. They had to spoil it, didn't they?

Yeah for this amount of money you would think you'd get rosewood.

Laurel, eh?
I’ve got a decent piece on my CV Jag in terms of grain, but man is the colour ever gross. If it’s not oiled to hell, it has a grey-like hue to it.

Yeah the colour of Laurel just doesn't work for me...if they could somehow at least dye it or something that would be a step towards the right direction.

I think the Laurel on my Riviera is just fine.
I notice that they have Kluson banjo tuners. That's really great- they were using some Grovers and it just pulled the strings all out of alignment, they are supposed to be straight like on a Fender.

Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Also the beveled headstock face. They did it all right.

That ember red is very, very cool.
The £1700 pricetag less so. I seem to spend half of my posts on here complaining about what things cost, and I know they're a Custom Shop collaboration and the build quality on these will likely be really good, but that's a lot of coin for what I assume is a Chinese-made guitar. I mean, that's more expensive than some new low-end Gibsons; it's £500 more than what I paid for a preowned Gibson six months ago.

Re: New Epiphone Firebirds
My Casino Coupe is pretty gross. I'm going to let it dry out and try to do exactly that.
edit:
Agreed, I'm jealous.

The lilac is beautiful, and it's the perfect Jsett single pickup setup too. But that colour, with the Laurel, nope.

Yeah they look really good. The silver isn't getting as much appreciation as it should though, just look at it!!!
