a couple of questions.....
hey guys...
is there an option I can click on, so that all the new threads come up to the top?
as it stands I get the "new" graphic next to the threads, but they are all over the page...
also, is there a way I can have more posts per page? Kinda like what Harmony Central (!!!) has...you know...being able to view 50 posts per page etc?
I thank you all kindly

Re: a couple of questions.....
There's a button for "view unread posts since last visit" at the top under your name, and a button for "view the most recent posts on the forum" at the buttom.
Wait, oh... I see. You want the lastest post in a thread to go to the top. Sorry.
Never mind.

Re: a couple of questions.....
Not sure what you mean regarding the new posts. Can you possibly post a screen grab of what your speaking of?
The number of posts per page is a board function and not a user function. Again, the reason for that is that it limits the amount of back and forth between the database and keeps the page loads down. It's possible it could be modded to become a per user setting but I would prefer to not mess with this one.

Re: a couple of questions.....
okies, I'll get a screenshot...
in regards to that other option...what it does for me is actualy show the posts within the thread in the reverse order...so say with this thread, this post I'm typing now would appear at the top, instead of the bottom

or maybe I posibly didn't click on the threads and my browser thinks they're new subjects?

Re: a couple of questions.....
Those are posts you haven't read yet I'm guessing. I've noticed that if I don't read every topic in a particular forum if I leave and come back, they will show unread even the the main index page shows has the forum marked as no new posts. It's a little odd for sure and not sure what I can do about it for the time being. I say put up a to-do post and it will get looked into once all the official "makeover" is online.
EDIT: This is a perfect example of a post that needed MASSIVE editing. Yikes... I guess I was in a hurry?
