Tinted clear nitro in aerosol can? EU source?
Do you guys in the UK or elsewhere in EU have any source for tinted clear laquer in aerosol cans?
Since Re-Ranch and other US sources do not ship overseas.
There was a guy in Gothenburg, Sweden(GNU) who mixed and sold tinted clear laquer but he doesn't do that anymore...

Try a store that has furniture refinishing supplies. They still sell lacquer, it may not be tinted, but furniture-grade lacquer is especially prone to yellowing. It may be worth a try anyway...

I tried that, but no-one have it in spray cans. The guy in Gothenburg(GNU) has the clear laquer but not the tinted so..
Why I asked the European guys is that you doesn't need to ship it by air. :-\

maybe you could do a search on the net for people that refinish guitars, and try and buy some off them?

Alot of car paint shops will mix paint and put it in a spray can for you. You could probably get them to put a drop of red, yellow, and brown tint in with some clear lacquer.

This is a shop in NL. They sell cellulose lacquer in aerosol cans ("spuitbus"). Let me know if the Dutch on that page is too much for you to handle ;-).
BTW, great avatar, val66c!

I suspect aflak/grondlak is lacquer/primer ?
mat/grans > satin/gloss ?
"tinktuur" ?
verdunning ?
patineerlak ?
I found those other sites :
http://www.manchesterguitartech.co.uk/lacquer.html
But the guy says he is not shipping outside UK (a pity).
http://dm-guitars.co.uk/luthier-supplies.htm
He's not saying if he ships anywhere...

Well they have thisNoFi wrote:

471001 Clou cellulose aflak glans, spuitbus (top coat lacquer, aerosol can)
and this
472001 Clou cellulose grondlak, spuitbus (base coat lacquer, aerosol can)
There's no mentioning of colours on the page, but I'm assuming at least the base coat lacquer is available in different colours. I guess the easiest thing to do is to shoot them an e-mail (http://www.voxhumanawebstore.nl/webstor ... 96f9a63a1d) and ask about what's available.
