(I figured I start a special thread for this since the story is too big to be hidden in another thread)

I was just looking at Sonic Youth´s guitars.. when I noticed this guitar (http://www.sonicyouth.com/mustang/eq/gtr32.html):

Now compare it to this.. the guitar Fenderbob got me via Ebay.. (Ebay thread: index.php/topic,22176.0.html & Fenderbob´s pictures thread: index.php/topic,22433.0.html)

It´s Lee Ranaldo´s stolen Mustang!!!

welp... I'd say that's pretty close. You should contact the band... maybe they'd do something nice for you or something. If they even still care about their stolen equipment.

I agree, but I think it'd be hard to sell a guitar that basically has scribbeled 'Sonic Youth' all over it. I think this explains the ridiculously low BIN too, it was just to make sure it was gone fast.

I sent e-mails to the contact management and the webmaster of sonicyouth.com.. not the best choices I guess, but I didn´t really know where to start.
