hey guys,

I know a few of you guys own some of these guitars...what I'd like you to do is measure the gap on the pickguard's bridge cutout...this way I (and we) can find out how much smaller (or bigger) is the reissue 6 saddle Musicmaster bridge, compared to the original Electric XII one.

so, to recap: I wanna find out how big this gap is:

and this gap:

centimeters would be great, but I guess inches will do as well!! :D

On a squier musicmaster (which happens to be the same as a mustang) the gap is...

93mm
or
3" and 11/16ths

Hi John (and everyone else by the way, as this is my very first post on this forum! :)),

the cutout in my XII's pickguard for the bridge-assembly is
10,4 cm/104 mm (= 4.0945 ") wide.

Hope this helps, best regards,
Stefan

hi Stefan, nice to see you here!! :)

your measurements have been great help....

so essentialy, the gap on the reall XII guard is about 1cm and a bit wider, whicj means that the musicmaster bridge should look ok....  :)

mission accomplished...god I love this forum!!
