Cool Knobs for your Offset Project...
I can't remember where I got this link, maybe the FDP at some point. But here's a page of some really cool looking OEM knobs that might be cool on your offset project. Some are very Fender-esque, like Bronco, XII, and Jaguar. And some are unique and very retro looking. Anyway, for what it's worth, here's the link:

Angela's still has the no-number version of the aluminum skirted knobs for $12 a pop, as well.
I bought an old Randall PA mixer that has dozens of the same type knob (with numbers) with with the Randall "R" on the black insert instead of the Fender "F". Pretty cool. I'll post a picture later on.

I think the Musicmaster Bass amp uses those skirted knobs without numbers, and the Bronco uses the knob with numbers.
I suppose the Randall knobs came from the same outsource?

Very likely. Both appeared (I believe) in the very late 60s and ran until the end of the 70s. Fender used them on the Fender Blender pedal, Rhodes pianos, Broncos, Starcasters, and probably a few other things as well. I've got some Fender numbered ones at home - I'll do some side-by-side photos of the Randalls tonight.

I'd really like to get a set of four of these for my Staronado project. Since the Fender Blender is now in reissue, shouldn't the knobs be avaiable somewhere?
I'm even thinking about buying a blender just to rob the knobs off of it.

They look similar.
I no longer have my XII, but maybe someone who has one will chime in.
If the size is close, maybe its good enough for use on a replica... if a real one can't be found. Especially since you're not going for 100% authenticity.
The price is certainly right!

If only they had the aluminum Dan Armstrong (Plexi) knobs like they used to use on 69-71 Ampeg amps! My Plexi bass is missing those...
