Too much. I won't bore you with the picture, but it looks like a shoe with a green sole.
LOL. Now that you mention it... ;)

No idea. I'm guessing it's a Maestro Vibrola since some other Epi Wilshire/Coronet models had an alternate version that looks very similar, but is branded as such.

Isn't the Maestro Vibrola the name for Gibson's typical tailpiece? I.e., this one (which actually has a caption calling this a Maestro Vibrola)?

I see a white lever knob for the rotary. Is it perhaps the one that was on ebay for a while - EXII style Daka-Ware knob in white for split shafts?
Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

That's the one. I've had it a while. With you saying that, I've just realised all my rotary switches are solid, so I might have to drill and tap it for a grub screw...the split shaft rotaries I've had in the past were too high off the guard to be used as they were anyway.

Crap. I wish you didn't live so far away. I have two split shaft rotarys and I have a solid shaft knob that needs to go on one of them. If you didn't live in london I'd ask you if you wanted to trade. But we'd both be in the hole if we did that.
I finally finish building a guitar, go to play it, and then remember, "oh yeah, that's right. I suck at playing... Why did I build another guitar again?"

Yes, but there are a few different types of Maestro Vibrola.

Ah yes, I just realised that. So, is Maestro a brand name?

Sort of. It's a division of Gibson.

So you plan to put the kind of tremolo/tailpiece/bridge we find on Epiphone ET270 and Aria 1802/1803.
Do you own one already ?

Anyway, that's a good choice. The tremolo gives a very jazzmasterish feeling, as the system is quite similar.
The only little problem is the arm location, which can be a little uncomfortable if you use to anchor your hand on the bridge when the picking goes tricky.

By the way, it might be too late but my favorite version of your project is this one...
