That's an absolute peach! Thanks for the pics. I'm very jealous of your saddles - all of those bridges I've had have had plastic rollers, and I'd love to try the metal.

Gorgeous guitar :-*

:-* You've scored a good one there! Thanks for the close-ups, they show the attention to detail in this guitar, like the machining on the face of the headstock - I love those kind of details, unless you look close you could miss them. It says something about the approach the makers took when building it. It's a beauty!

hi, I'm glad you like the UC-2 too, I'm enjoying playing it very much! now I only need another bone nut (this one is almost gone and strings are too low) and a vibrato arm replacement...

anyway I really love this guitar :-*

For the arm, that one on Ebay that theworkoffire mentioned should do the trick. Even a Strat arm with 10/32 thread would work-just thought of trying one to see how it would look:

thank you man! I contacted the seller of that vibrato arm on ebay... he asked me about further details, and also said that '3/16" is a common diameter for vintage Japanese tremolo bars'... I just replied that thread is 10/32 and lenght just about 7-3/4"... I don't know about the '3/16" diameter', and I'm not used to inches either, we use the metric system here ;D

holy crap! only today I noticed that on the first string (the "skinny" E) I get a dead note on the 5th fret ("A")...
it sounds like a bad sitar playing "A#"... is that fixable or is it something serious? :wtf: I guess I need to go visit a good luthier... :squint: also, a whole guitar setup would be welcome, 'cause I bolt on the neck myself, since the guitar has been shipped here dismantled in two parts (body and neck) for a safer shipping on its long trip (from USA to italy)...
I hope it's fixable for a low price :'(
