I realize that I'm necro posting here.

A couple of months ago I bought a Kustom Defender V50. To me the amp is kind of a bastard child of a Marshall and a Fender. Great overdrive circuit and loud as hell. Very smooth cleans. I can use this thing for jazz, country, rock, metal or just about anything else. For the life of me I don't know why I waited so long to buy a decent tube amp. I really like the Kustom. Come to think of it, all of my amps are Kustoms except for my ZT Lunchbox. I guess I'm a Kustom amp kinda girl.

The lady-guitarist in my old band played through a Kustom; her sound was awesome, and it really complemented my guitars' sounds (through a massive solid state Ampeg at the time). :)
