thanks guys!

Wow! That is cool! Reminds me of the yellowed out Ocean Turquoise I had. The cool thing here is the combo of the original headshape and the all gold logo. That decal alone is rare, but even rarer on that headshape.

I remember that one, didn't you sell it an FDP'er?Jim Shine wrote: Wow! That is cool! Reminds me of the yellowed out Ocean Turquoise I had. The cool thing here is the combo of the original headshape and the all gold logo. That decal alone is rare, but even rarer on that headshape.
I thought of yours too when I saw the pic of the headstock with the gold logo. Yours was the first one of those I had ever seen.

I don't know... $3500 for a CBS refin with a few changed parts? I realize what prices have done, but still.
You could buy a pre-CBS refin and have it redone in the color of your choice and still have a few bucks left over.
It's a nice JM and not a bad price, but no steal IMO.
(I don't have anything against the post '66 era, just making a point with the pricing)

Yup, that was my old 'McPlop' tree. That is a stump now. I used that for many guitar pics.
